SVEA LODGE No. 348
Celebrating Nordic Culture & Traditions
Svea Lodge # 348 is a Swedish fellowship that shares a common interest in Nordic culture and heritage. Members of Svea Lodge celebrate many Nordic customs and occasions, often with music, cuisine, and costumes. Members of Svea Lodge typically come together in the evening on the third Friday of every month for a social program and meeting. Our meetings are dress casual, are performed in English, are conducted with minimal ritual and formality, and are for all ages.

Svea Lodge does honor to many events and traditions from both the old and new calendars. We celebrate Valborgsmassoafton, Midsummer at Sveadal, Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast and Car Show, Julebord and many other occasions throughout the year.

Membership is open to all, 14 years or older, who are interested in Nordic culture. Svea Lodge holds many of its meetings at the Odd Fellow's Hall, 1035 Emory Street, San Jose, California. This facility has a large formal hall with a raised stage which we occasionally use for our meetings, plus a more casual dining room and kitchen. On those evenings when we meet at this hall, the business meetings begin promptly at 7:00PM, followed by the social event.
